Hot Box alarm North side - 22nd axle (2nd axle on the 3rd car). Bearing and end cap found to be glowing red & melting. He'll set off that car in Zeeland.

Are there any DD’s east of 19.1 that would’ve caught the train while it’s closer to grand rapids?

Hello David, no, that's the 1st DD on this sub-division when headed west out of Grand Rapids.

N800-29 @ 08:16:14 eastward Bangor’s Division St crossing mp CG60.93 with BNSF engine #8496 & 129 loaded coal cars & rear BNSF engine #9290. He'll add CSX engines #3167 + #3440 behind his leader at the east end of Grand Junction mp CG54.

Amtrak P371-30 @ 08:20 westward reported by the DD mp CG91.9 with 16 axles & 308 feet long. IDTX engine #4619 & 3 SuperLiners.

Q327-30 update @ 08:26 Chicago Chief contacted them & said they are going to re-wheel (that's actually what was said) the 22nd axle where Q327 will be sitting. Would imagine that means they'll jack up that end of the car and sit it on a new complete axle.
They're going to move Q327 to the Centennial St crossing mp CG20.44 after the bearing cools off more to perform the axle work there.

N800-29 @ 10:27 eastward Holland Depot mp CG25.3 with BNSF engine #8496 & CSX engines #3440 + #3167 & 129 loaded coal cars & rear BNSF engine #9290.

At this time, they're getting ready to perform the wheel change out on Q327. I don't know if they mean they can change out just the wheel with the bad bearing or if the entire axle will be changed out.

The wheel and the axle are one piece. They’ll roll out the bad one from under the truck and roll a fresh one in place.

WB through South Lyon is passing at a crawl. Are they pulling into the siding?

what a mess in Zeeland....the engines and two cars are just west of Centennial street...the tank car is in the middle of the road crossing with a small crane to pick up the car...the rest of the train is just east of the feed mill....the intersection at Washington and Fairview has got all the drivers messed up cause some sit at the red light waiting for the train to move....some just go through the red light....

D705 clear EE Brighton @12:26pm.

From the radio, it sounds like they passed the D706-27 which was left in the Brighton siding 3 days prior.

They did just that, D705-30 westbound thru EE Brighton at 12:29, passing D706-27. DD at 39.1 reports 8,556', didn't hear the axle count.

D705-30 had 139 cars at Howell. 5294+828 on the head end. No surprise D706 from three days ago still sits in Brighton. Powers to be, probably are not even aware that it still sits there. Only 104 cars on the train. Only the customers are wondering, but they don't count. D705 at least got to fly down the main today as GLC finally picked up the 67 cars parked on the main overnight that had been sitting there since last Friday. GLC spent six hours at Ann Pere from midnight to 06:00. At one time, they had 151 cars in their train including what they brought back from Osmer, despite having only 27 cars to set off for CSX. Long story on why they were there for six hours which I won't get in to, but listened to the entire thing on the radio.

D708-30 arrived in Howell at 15:05 with 74 cars for GLC. They are at least all in the siding this time. 35 of the 74 were TSBY grain cars, which is unusual in recent years. Picking up cars in the transfer and will return to Lansing.
