Some MOW equipment was tied down on the siding in South Lyon overnight. Noticed one hi-rail truck just arrived at the Lake St. crossing.

Q327-24 @ 08:45 westward reported by DD mp CG19.1 with 728 axles & 10,535 ft long. CSXT engines #5377 + 1 & 179 cars. He has work for Holland. He had told RN Dispatcher he's already at 13,000 tons & his engines are good for only 14,000 tons & is asking if the 11 cars he's to pick up exceeds 1,000 tons - waiting for an answer at 08:50.

327 at waverly now
the total cars in the waverly pass is 26 cars, not 11 per 327 ( sounds like the tie gang equipment loaded on the cars )
crew talkimg to rn says total tonnage of the 26 cars is 2000 ton, putting them over the 14000 ton
limit for the 2 motors they have. rn to retalk with ctd to find out just what to do.
also 327 has a 4 axle in tow ( by the sounds they will leave the four axle at waverly and pickup
they 2 - 4 axles 700 and 702 have used the past month ) 327 had 178 cars with 2 - 6 axles and 1 - 4 axles by 19.1.
327 is all stopped from waverly east back to zeeland. also sounds like the ctd said pick the 26 up and the tm
says high ball the pick up. no plan as of 908a as to what to do

910a - the plan
327 will do the engine swap only, will depart waverly with 2 - 6 axles in lead with 2 - 4 in trail with 178 cars
will leave consist in place east of waverly

914a - plan b now in effect
327 releases the driver back to wyoming
327 will not do the engine swap, will high ball the orginal train to barr
so that makes 327 as 2 - 6 axles for power with a 4 axle in tow and 178 cars for the consist
the tm prevailed today

920a - 327 starts to pull
926a - clear holland

D706-24 @ 04:07 eastward was reported by the DD mp CH104.3 with 414 axles & 6,094 feet long. CSXT engines #286 + #131 + #2652 + #4006 & 98 cars (47 loaded + 51 empties). I don't know what the nature of his work was for Lansing, but, had heard he had 2 engines to pick up at Webberville, too (no mention was made of those engine numbers).

Q327-24 at 09:26 westward is passing by the Holland Depot mp CG25.3 with just 3 engines, looks like the plan for dropping off his single 4 axle engine & picking up the slug set was cancelled.
