Amessmann Says: I was about to ask as I had never seen Peaker receive a locomotive or anything else. At some point last summer D708 had a CN locomotive, was this also worked on at Peaker?[/quote]

CN had a large contract with Peaker to do PTC work for them. They must have received a couple dozen locomotives delivered by CSX during the length of the contract. Have the full list of units that went there. Often time, when they had no other reason to go east of Ann Pere beside delivering a unit there, they would leave their train at Ann Pere and go power light. This way they would just come back west without having the need to run around their train in South Lyon. No one was more surprised than I to see a CSX unit going there today. There could be others coming as well.

I presume there was no D705-01 today because D705-31 was so late yesterday?

Hi, sometimes D705's departure from Detroit depends on when D706 got to Detroit & which crew is going to run D705. If it's the same crew from D706 that's going to run D705 back to Grand Rapids, they are required 10 hours of off duty time. Earlier today, D706 was posted as being by Howell mp CH54.2 @ 07:02am. If he made no stops along the way, he probably arrived in Detroit around 8:30am or so. Depending on how much on duty time they had left (12 hours is maximum by Federal Law), they wold have yarded their train in Detroit.

So, it's still possible for D705-01 to appear tonight or in the early morning hours tomorrow.

By the way, if you could use a CSX Time Table, let me know, I can send you a link for a free download of their 2005 version. It's old, but, still pretty accurate for locations. I have some Time Table notes I can pass along to you too.

That would be very appreciative! When I was railfanning the Plymouth sub, I actually had someone walk out of their house, talk to me, and they gave me a copy of the 2015 timetable for the Chicago Subdivision.

D705, or something, is lined west as of 00:39. WAS EE Brighton is displaying a clear aspect.
Currently going thru Brighton at 03:35. No visual.

A note about timetables, I bought access to one from 2008 and downloaded it as a PDF, I'm happy to share if anyone wants it. It's for the Chicago Division.

PyrodronProd, if you meant you had a 2015 copy of the Chicago Division timetable, I'd love a copy!

I am going to try to scan it in when I can. It's bound like a book so it might take a while for me to scan the whole thing.

As of 09:55, D702 switching Zeeland.
Yesterday, D702 set off two centerbeams at Zeeland Lumber and brought this classic BN covered hopper to Vanden Bosch feed.
