Cut of ballast cars. They were in Cadillac yesterday. Looked like around 15 cars, give or take.

There haven't been any wood chip shipments since the new particle board plant in Grayling opened up AFAIK.

Other cars that look similar are the coke hoppers and cotton seed hoppers. Both go all the way to Cadillac too just like the wood chip hoppers used too.

Nb probably in shepherd about now. 382 trailing. I couldn't see the other power. Good size train. On the tail was a good size cut of chip hoppers. Maybe ties, I couldn't tell 1308

Betting for Traverse City (Williamsburg branch where they are replacing a few thousand ties).

MMRR delivered 115 loaded CHs to GLC on Tuesday. GLC took em down to Durand last night to hand back off to CN. These came into Durand last Monday AM on an X395.

GLC went south through Howell at 18:00 with 383-384 on the head end and 74 cars. They only set off eight ash cars at Ann Pere, which were cars 4-11 in the consist. Train had a lot of tank cars, plus what looked liked many CSX & NSSX scarp tie cars that usually go to CSX on the rear of the train. Perhaps theses cars are now being interchanged with the Ann Arbor. instead, or, perhaps be set off at Ann Pere on the way back north. This would be unusual to have two set offs in one round trip.

GLC went south through Howell at 17:30 with 392+386+382 and 50 cars. 14 ash cars for CSX but did not look much of anything else for them.

1 lumber load it was at the end of the train (with a beacon ITFX car) but the lumber load could of been for Clare. Also on Thursdays inbound to Cadillac they brought in one ITFX beacon car. That makes 2 gons for beacon.
