Great Lakes Central Updates March 2021

Drove by Beacon in TC this morning. 4 gons were dropped off at 2am Saturday morning (night and a weekend in TC!). 2 DJJX, 2 ITFX. They picked up two DJJX loads.

Leaving Cadillac for Clare at 0940. 398 and 393.

Looks like GLC is lined south out of Durand as of 15:28. (according to CN ATCS)
Occupying Pitt at 15:38.

GLC OSTN lined south out of Durand, crossing the diamond at 16:09.

PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

I wonder what would've lifted a locomotive up like that, I'm curious to hear the cause.
Seems like it was low speed so hopefully everyone's alright.

Looks like this run is lined back north until just before Durand as of 00:54. They have not shown up on ATCS yet.
Occupying Pitt at 00:58, cleared into Durand at 01:01, and into the yard at 01:38.

Sudden stop. Looks like the other truck isn't on the rails.

It happened just past Tobias Road, which is a dirt road. My guess is that the front trucks rode off the rails at the crossing with the flangeways packed with ice, and then eventually came to a stop just past the crossing, lifting the rear trucks off the ground on the left side as the loco tilted.

They arrived in Petoskey today at around 11:00 am, finished their switching at about 12:00 pm and then headed south.
