I believe this one is now the NY-28.

Form D C-49 for an NS 5176 at North Yard. I believe this is either an FD-61 or 28. This one has the form both ways and is going to Sterling at some point.

NS 5224 working the Chrysler Docks at Mack Yard.

There was a car train accident tonight around 8pm on the Sterling Secondary at East 7 Mile Road in Detroit.

3 injuries, unknown which train it was. Just saw a small news story in Detroit News.

Didn't catch the train number but I saw them heading through Huron township (Huron River Drive crossing) at 2:55. Longest intermodal train I've seen on that line in years. It even had a helper mid-train.

If it’s heading north, 20N. If it’s heading south, 21N.

It would be 20N. I didn't stop soon enough to catch the numbers on the engines.

Ah ok. I still have no idea how Conrail shared assets breaks down and who uses what and all that.

As it turns out, I was wrong. This is actually the NY-27 with it being on Thursday. 28 must’ve been a temp extra. The 27 has become a 12-hr job lately. It seems that depending on the day, the 61 (Sat-Wed) job will do this work while 27 does Mound and eventually North Yard work…….at least that’s what was going on Tue and Wed. A cpl other times I was at Mound, the 27 did the Terminal East with North Yard work… I suppose it just depends on the day….. regardless, great pic

NS 5056 brought 4 Boxcars to Mack Yard at 5pm on 11/12. Presumably for Kace.

A very long string of vehicle frames in Sterling Yard. Quite a few 60' hicube box cars by the axle plant. No engines were working.
