Great Lakes Central Updates: December 2020
Track crew working the Middleton district west of 127 again this morning 0800
Re: Great Lakes Central Updates: December 2020
At one of the AARRT&HA annual meetings a few years ago (maybe 10) the President of GLC said that they were willing to invest in upgrading the Middleton Branch but had to be in line with the branches revenues (which at the time were about $500,000 annually). Since then MAC has added capacity, a fertilizer and/or feed mill has located on line adding quite a few carloads and I believe there is one fertilizer transload customer. It seems like GLC investment has paid dividends

It doesn't look like biewer has been visited since yesterday. I can see a string of tie gons to the west. I assume they're empty since I don't see anything sticking up. That or they're loaded below the sides 1028

There's still boxcars sitting at Walton Junction, I'd assume they'd send someone up to grab those at some point.
Consistently confused

Interesting that's there box cars there. Do they look like they're in revenue service?

From AANR's video's it seems they keep the ties below the tops of the sides

Box cars???? Why would there be box cars in Walton? There's no customers even in Cadillac or north for that matter that get box cars. Any marks/numbers? Also any idea how many?
