AANR, you got some nice locations! Looks like they made a pick up of empty methanol cars in Kalkaska too.

Any idea of when they’ll go to Petoskey next? Is there a “normal” day they go to Petoskey or is it random?

Trips to Petoskey have been infrequent this year. Averaging once every three weeks. Trips to Elmira have been a little more frequent, around every other week. I'm certain some of this has been a result of covid, No set day, runs as needed. No set time, sometimes in the morning or in the case of today, early afternoon. Leave time from Cadillac has mostly been determined by the schedule being affected by track upgrades between Clare and Lake George.

Edit: Only 3 of the 4 gons went up.

Got to see your train up here in T.C. about 1330 or so. They had already dropped off the gons and I caught them at Amerihart yard. My dog "Hershey" was helping watch the trains as well as a couple of other guys. One said he lives near the T.C. library and thought he'd see where these trains go. Didn't get to talk to the other railfan across the trail bridge but I saw a RR sticker on his car window. Hi there! -Jim

Glad you got to see them. I know the guy with the RR sticker, his name is Matt. I had some business in TC today and happened to get done when they were coming back from Amerhart. Here's the video.

I am hoping to catch GLC on the line to Petoskey tomorrow... if I get lucky. If anyone down in Cadillac, or anywhere on the Petoskey line, sees them run that line tomorrow, let me know and post if you can! I have been trying to catch a train on this line for years and never get lucky.

383 and two other locos returned to Cadillac from Clare at 0720 with 46 cars. 383 should be leading when they head south again. Didn't catch the numbers on the other power.

Clare train was being built in Cadillac at 1700. 383 will be leading 390 and 399 when they go.
