D801-27 cleared the Waverly Wye around 11:40PM with BNSF 59xx leading 130 loads with CSX power pushing on the rear. Followed Amtrak P370-27 into Holland, meanwhile it sounds like D700-27 is working a customer in the Zeeland area. N800-27 is tying down the train at Grand Junction per scanner convo with an assigned PTI driver.
"...and I was in the front and Matt grabbed and pulled my ears from behind me and made horsey sounds."

So does D706 only go through SL once during the day or will it head back north this evening?

D706 & D705 run only one way and on different days. D706 will run on Monday & return as D705 the next day.
D706 runs eastward only on Monday, Wednesday & Friday starting from Grand Rapids & ends in Detroit.
D705 runs westward only on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday starting in Detroit & ends in Grand Rapids.
Neither of these trains run on Sunday.

From the scanner archives, D706-28 between 03:21am/03:51am eastward was reported by the DD at mp CH126.3 with 664 axles & 9,759 feet long. He had departed Grand Rapids with CSX engines #3029 + #3460 & 163 cars.
Between 03:51am/04:21am he was reported by the DD at mp CH104.3 with 664 axles & 9,669 feet long.
I was able to still hear some of his calls after the DD mp CH104.3 report, but, not clearly.
