Q326-23 @ 16:13 reported by the DD at mp CG91.9 with 400 axles 5492 feet. CSX engine's #35 + #8830 & 97 cars.
D700-23 @ 16:26 is finally moving westward reporting from Lamar mp CG3.5 after having issues with his 1st engine & changing it out with the CSX #3414. He's to go to Holland while on his westward travels.
Q326-23 @ 16:28 was reported clear of the St Joseph Bridge.
D700-23 @ 16:59 was reported by the DD at mp CG19.1 as a lite engine & has his signal to go into Waverly/Holland at mp CG23.
Q326-23 @ 17:18 Bangor's Division Street mp CG60.93 approach with CSX engines #35 + #8830 & 97 cars (no Amtrak car was seen on Q326).
Note: Ok, I found my confusion, the prior post was a quote from Feb 19th & had me thinking there was to be an old Amtrak car on today's Q326.

326 fall off the face of the earth? Surprised it’s not clear Holland yet unless it stalled out.

Around 18:40 or so, he had to "loop thru" Holland/Waverly to get around a switch D700 had issues with. At 18:50 Q326 got his Approach Medium signal.
Q326 @ 18:58 has a Medium Clear signal, siding to main, at mp CG23.

I was all the way out by Vriesland hoping to get them in that sunset, but missed out. I retreated to Grandville...

This was in Ensel the other day. Made its way onto 708.

I took this on Friday? Same day as the GL grain train empties came into Grand Ledge.
Have done some further checking into this car to find out it was built in 1957 by the Budd Company as Northern Pacific 1296, later becoming Amtrak 8048. It was converted to HEP power from Steam Heat in Feb. 1980 and re# 8506. In 1986 it was converted to a Griddle Car and Re# 8500 at that time. Both this car, and car 8532 that went earlier to GLC were retired by Amtrak not all that many years ago.

If I can remember the train number, what I believe is Y195 is working Padnos’ Turner St. facility currently, or at least up that way.

Looks like a lot to pick up from the GRE tonight.

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.
