Yup caught this train in Melvindale! The reason I was there was to catch CP 141 west! "Mazon" and I got there with plenty of time! I found out before leaving that it was in Windsor at 11:45 a.m. Figured this train would take time with "Customs!" Got there around 2 and it came around 4 p.m. with CP "WWII" SD70ACU #6644!!!! WOW, our first time seeing one of these! Got good pix as it led in the sun! This must be one of those rebuilt SD90(43)MAC units from the 1990s! I found out later we missed an eastbound "Rail Train" with two CPRail SD40-2 units─including a "Pac-Man!!!!" CP "WWII" 6644: https://heritageunits.com/locomotive/detail/CP6644

The foam was thicc chasing the CP rail train today. There had to be 30-40 people chasing from Milan/Belleville into Detroit. There was crowds at every Romulus crossing and enough to fill up a few lanes at Thunderbowl.
OK LansingRailFan was the "FOAM" thicker for "WWII" CP 6644 leading, or the SD40-2s on the "Rail Train?" Man, I missed that by a couple hours!!!! Now, this reminds me of a time in 1998 of a CP Rail train with five SD40-2 type locos─which was more common back then! I took these four pix of that train eastbound in Livonia, MI on CSX:

Roberttrains I’d say it was for the rail train but that was just the first of several Photo ops in the same area. You also had EJE 663 running LHF under the arches and then the CP 141 as well.

Was a busy day on the east side for sure.
Very cool! Do you know what time EJE SD38-3 #663 was running through Allen Park? Where was that engine in the mid afternoon? There should also be IC SD70s around!!!!

I’m not very familiar with the area but the L571 crossed the NS line around 1-1:30, dropped a bunch of cars and then headed south.
Wb table train by 475 in toledo with 2 bnsf units at 2225. I saw these units light in sandusky a few hours ago headed east. Im guessing they turned in sandusky yard and got the tables locally. Both facing west. Also heard of table trains wb on csx today. Were these in storage for bnsf maybe?
Yup, got NS"Conrail Heritage" ES44AC #8098 as a "Light Engine Movement" just north of Chicago Road, Warren, by the Red Run Drain bridge! Around 4:40 p.m. Good stuff lately!!!!

Nice! My dad worked at GM Tech Center on the east side of the Conrail SA tracks and south of Chicago Road in Warren from July, 1956 until he retired on February 18, 1980.
