any one know what went through Zeeland about 7:15 this morning? Don't usually see trains that hour and it was snowing so hard I couldn't see what it was.

Please do not poke at the ramp agent because he has the power to make your vacation
memorable or miserable. It all depends on what flight you bags go on.

That was S33512, with CSX 7546/389 and 159 cars. Lots of Chicago cars in this one. They took a two hour plus delay between Howell & Fowlerville when the EOT took a dump on them and caused the same with the air in their train. Moving through Williamston at 12:30pm.

Another grain load out of Webberville last night, 4th one since since Oct 20th. G010 crew put it in the pass at Brighton. Train came from empty train V86005 on the 10th. Power was CSX 83 & 4567.

Sounds like Amtrak is finally leaving Holland on the way to Chicago.

Ottawa County Dispatch just announced that CSX is resuming normal operations here in Holland (1:15 PM)...

Estimated to be in:
Bangor - 13:40
St. Joseph - 14:17
Do you know if Q327 is going to follow them down?

Just heard D700 - they'll be going into the siding at 112th; don't know where Q327 is - bit I'll be listening and I'll let you know if I hear anything.

How's the snow over there, Tim? We have close to 2" on the ground on the NW side of GR. Pretty much nothing on the ground a few miles to the east.

On the north side of Holland we have maybe an inch or so, doesn't completely cover the ground.
