Joy is the name of the next signal east of the east end of the siding at Michigan City. At one time it was the holdout signal for the Monon diamond.
Thank you for the Joy info. Was this signal removed, or, does it still display a signal to this day? Do you recall how long ago that diamond was removed?
Edit: I just saw the Joy Holdout signal on Google Street view with its newer style signals. :)

Q326-05 is currently going through Benton Harbor. Sounds like CSXT 7201 leading.

Per my notes and confirmed by the Streetview images, Joy Holdout is still an absolute in both directions. Note that there is a CP sign (for PTC) in both directions and no number plates.

The diamond was located at the east end of the siding in Michigan City and I believe the Monon was abandoned in the late 70s or very early 80s.

Currently going through Watervliet. Sounds like no work in Holland today, they're going straight to Grand Rapids.

Bangor camera chat says Q327 will be stopping at Waverly Holland. A string of tanks and covered hoppers was tied down in Holland siding west of 112th on Friday, looked like it might be MSRR traffic. That may be for pickup.
