He has work for Buzzi Cement mp CG5.2 & then he’ll go into Waverly mp CG22.8 & later westward to Hartford mp CG68.7 & will runaround his train at Kirk mp CG70.2 to head back east.

M327-26 @ 10:25 westward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG91.9 St Joseph, Mi with 326 axles. CSX engine #5353 (solo) & 80 cars (30 loads + 50 empties) @ 5,211 tons & 4,773 feet long.

L301-26 @ 11:17 westward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG19.1 Zeeland, Mi with 112 axles. CSX engines #4289 + #8839 & 25 cars. He’s headed into Waverly mp CG22.8 & later he’ll head westward for work at Hartford & will runaround his train at Kirk mp CG70.2 to head back east.

He’ll take Grand Junction siding mp CG54 & tie down.

L302-26 @ 19:26 heard talking to MTO Mr. Brown (Manager Train Operations) regarding their Lansing work and there's a pick up on track LO2 having 36 cars and an engine. Don't know what engine is on that track, nor, if it's being picked up. Hearing L302 has CSXT engine #7209 leading & might have CSXT engine #5385 as the trailing engine.

L302-26 Guessing if they're picking up an engine it may be CSXT #8199 since the CSXT #8842 was recently brought to Lansing. Hearing L302 has CSXT engine #7209 leading & might have CSXT engine #5385 as the trailing engine.

8199 was just dropped off yesterday by 303. Was used for L305 today solo. The 8842 was paired with 8199 last night on L304.

... and an engine. Guessing if they're picking up an engine it may be CSXT #8199 since the CSXT #8842 was recently brought to Lansing.

Pudgy beat me to it but I'll post for my own notes. 8066 and 8016 had been on the rotation for a while when 8066 was taken east by L303-06 in September. 4067 was brought up here four days later on L302-09 leaving 4067 and 8016. 8016 was taken west by L302-13 this October, with 8842 being dropped off that same day (wyed by L303-13). Next to go was 4067, taken east by L303-20. It's replacement seems is 8199, brought up on L302-24 this past Tuesday. 4289 and 6151 continued west on L302-18 for a local out that way. Interesting that 8842 was not on L305 today, doesn't sound like it was taken from Lansing.

No idea what the 3rd engine is - was it on L302 when he had left Detroit, or, did he pick it up from Lansing? Axle math supports 3 six axle engines & doesn't support 2 six axle engines.

Updated info 10/27/2023: L302-26 did have CSX engines #7209 + #5385 + #8842 & all 3 are on today's M327.

Side note: tomorrow's L303-27 will have the power from today's M326-26 (CSX engines #403 + #65).

L302-26 @ 23:04 stopped at Seymour mp CH148.1 waiting for Amtrak P370. While waiting, he had contacted Rouge Tower to give them a heads up for the power he has. L302 had said they picked up the 3rd engine from Lansing. He didn't mention the 3rd engine's number and said it is tagged as "Shop Only" (??), nor, was the trailing engine's # mentioned. Rouge did tell him all 3 of his engines will be on tomorrow's M327-27.
