I find it interesting all the train meets at Holly now. They used to be mostly at Andersonville siding, if I recall. Did they remove Andersonville siding?

The other day they had them all meet in downtown Royal Oak! Logistically it made sense but it shut the entire city down.

116 just went SB past MP 22.5 on the Holly with CN/UP/CN power, mixed freight up front, including steel, and a shorter train at 8:12 am.

01:42 - EB 2-unit Z148 intermodal with CN/UP f/f and an inspection boxcar up front

04:19 - WB 4-unit M399 with 112 empty 2-bay hoppers on the rear. Possibly smashed a B731 into a M399

05:31 - EB 2-unit L500 with CN/CN f/r and the fouled horn that KC8 reported. It looks like L500 has Lansing cars to set off on the head end, followed by Durand and Flint. Either that or that's a whole lotta lumber to set off in Durand.
- right now, still not sure where Lansing's cars are coming from as it used to be A450 generally.
- Also still not sure which train the EB/SB Lansing cars are getting picked up on as it used to be A450. GM was shipping loaded racks from Cory to Lang Yard to interchange and head east.

07:57 - WB 2-unit L501 with CN 8946/CN 2599 . tons of loaded racks today. I was all excited because there was 69 of them but then there was four more on the end. Also what looks to be some misc freight possibly off of an L507 with a loaded coil car.
- They skipped work at Cory Yard today.

00:36 - NB L507 at Durand turning EB on the High Wye

01:15 - NB GLC OSTN with 386/382

06:39 - WB 2-unit L501 with CN 8946/CN 2599 thru Durand on M1

08:02 - WB P365 arrives in Durand on M2

08:08 - WB P365 departs Durand on time on M2.

08:25 - EB 2-unit L500 with CN 8890/CN 2515 arrives on M1 in Durand. They set off some cars in Lansing from the looks of it. They have 19 cars to set off in Durand Yard.

Manistique - Andersonville siding has been gone for several years now for sure, it may even be 10 years or more now, maybe someone else can pinpoint the exact date.

Can someone help me out with this whole L507 and L514 thing? Is 514 still the North and South intermodal train between Moterm and Flint or is 507? I saw that 507 was working Moterm yesterday so now I’m confused. Thanks.

I’m guessing 514 is the southbound counterpart to 507. I’m not totally sure though, so hopefully there’ll be clarification eventually.
