Trenton 3 at Jones Chemical, NS 5267

Well, for once I happened to have a piece of paper and a pen when RR-25 passed by today. He cleared Inkster Road crossing at 11.53AM EST, headed north. I'd heard him headed down about half an hour earlier. Consist when I saw him was as follows:

NS 5212 and NS 5224 (!)
Four covered hoppers
One center-beam flat loaded with glass slabs

So, for the second day running, the Guardian run had TWO locomotives on it.

I saw him crossing Racho Rd yesterday. I was thinking I hadn't seen them run in a while.

NY-6 was switching PVS at 9.30am.

Heard a horn at about 13.15 coming up the Lincoln Secondary, so I headed over to see what was happening. I was thinking perhaps an I-150 was coming, as that's around the time he usually shows up when going that way, and the horn sounded like what I usually hear from that. Was I WRONG! It was instead RR-25, returning from the glass run! Consist was as follows:

NS 5267 and NS 5008
Two covered hoppers
One centerbeam car loaded with glass slabs

So, it appears as though they're now running two engines on the local on that line, as that's the third time this week I've seen that.

LV-4 called out Lou with the NS 5176 and were going to Brickyard. (Ferrous Scrap along Southern Avenue)

Where is RR-61 going?

Late post due to low battery but NS 5287 is working around Stalantis sterling may the moment with NS 5287, funny crew on board!

Where is RR-61 going?

Sorry I didn’t see this earlier, RR-61 went to Lincoln Yard and eventually tied down in Brownstown down the Lincoln.

Word is the RR-61 was a relief job. Given the time and direction, sounds identical to the RR-3. Maybe someone with some more inside info can clarify....

RR-3, NS 5267 was working in Taylor, the 5267 would be long hood forward going south.

NS 3283 trailing out on 31M behind NS 9922, LV9 must have some new power.

Conrail Ny-7 is heading up to Sterling later…first doing Mound work…so they’re currently at Mound. NS 5334 and 11 cars to Sterling.

About a year ago today, RR61 was


Yard Hump on weekends, US steel the rest of the week or wherever they decide to send them. They’d go everywhere. Livernois Sunday and Monday, Rouge Thurs, Fri, Sat.
They’d do the Brownstown run Thursday and Friday Morning and the next 3 days are anyone's guess. Keeps it non monotonous if anything. This was a year ago, but I doubt it changed a whole lot.

NY-6 switching PVS.

NS 5176 and 5056 heading down Jct Runner toward Oakwood lite power, guessing LV35

Trenton 3 moving down to 13 to work Jones Chemical, NS 5008

NY-7 is at Forest Lawn, going to Mack Yard with Autoracks.

Another job shunting cars in the classification yard.

Trenton 3 northbound with NS 5008 sitting at Emmons street waiting for 331 to clear CP Mill.

Trenton 3 in BASF, NS 5224. Will be heading to Jones Chemical eventually.
