Interesting consist on 176 today. NS 176 with NS 4293, WFRX 8859 with 33 cars and should still be at Oakwood. The consist is facing elephant style west so they will have to spin it.

CN 8952 will lead M384 out tonight.

17E in sterling at 4:15 with an H2 GEVO, I think it’s going out on 31M later
4:31 PM: NS 271 on duty in Sterling, no idea on power.

Fittingly for this thread, CP’s script painted heritage unit is going out on NS 31M today. Started switching at 5:40.

It has been made official that the final TripleCrown Roadrailer service is to run on July 1st. Will be a sad day for sure.

NS M9E is NB thru Trenton at 13:55 with NS 7550 solo.
M9E is an extra 19E which is an extra rack train symbol.

NS dropped off on Friday and picked up today a unit grain train. WB by MP 63 of the NS Wabash Line with NS 4314/BNSF 4644/NS 9592 at 16:09

CP 231 today had CP 8040 and CN 3164 and 98 Cars. Went by Romulus at 736pm.

EB CP 230 with CP 9759/KCSM 4555 (grey ghost) at Butler, IN at 08:06 using the connection to get onto the Wabash Line.
EB NS 45R, empty grain train for INER, with NS/NS/UP for power followed closely.

NS 422, coal loads for Dearborn led by NS 4600 (1999/2022 AC44C6M), received the OK to proceed north through Wyandotte at 13:18 and crossed Pleasant Street in River Rouge at 13:46.

EB NS 256 thru Swanton, OH at 19:00. Rerouted thru Toledo due to track work on the Wabash Line. Will take the Detroit line from Toledo.

Is this the first time the roadrailer has taken the CR detroit line? I’ve never heard of it doing that even as a reroute.

No, roadrailers ran from Rutherford, PA to Willow Run in the past. Conrail and NS.
