I'm assuming they plan to set off the #8849 in Lansing. Has anyone heard if this is the plan? Most likely when the axle count is heard from the DD at mp CH104.3 the math will confirm what's what.

At 17:40, D705-31 is stopped waiting to get the signal through Ann Pere. The dispatcher gave them their EC-1 for Ensel to Lake Odessa at that time, no mention one way or another about work in Lansing.

Q326-31 @ 18:01 eastward reported by the DD mp CG19.1 with 208 axles & 3,107 feet long. CSX engines #3345 + mid #3338 & 49 total cars.

D70531 cleared the west end of Howell at 18:05 going track speed. First four units pulling hard, trailing unit was isolated. Took nearly a 30 minute delay with a track circut on GLC on the north side of the diamond on a day when GLC has the holiday day off and were not running. Crew actually got the green light by going through the procedure at Ann Pere. Crew said that was the first time that has happened for them. A good omen for the upcoming start of a new year coming soon.

Yes, 8849 is for Ensel Yard. Hopefully it’s facing east as 8838 is west facing.

8849 was facing east every time it lead 706 the past couple of weeks, provided no one turned it.

Per a friend's video, 8849 is facing east.
