They were parked at the Pointiac Amtrak, but then they picked up the spare Charger and headed towards the yard. Maybe to wye the set.

Just flew south passed Pontiac Amtrak. I assume they will be back for passengers??

Looking at my video from today, the lead on the inspection cars was Amfleet “Beech Grove” that they use for LIDAR, along with the aforementioned “Pacific Bend”, “Corridor Clipper”, and “American View.”

Is it the usual pattern for B25 to follow 350? If so, is it daily?

Also, I just checked Amtrak booking and it showed full service Wolverines on Tuesday (4/16) from PNT to CHI, but Wednesday (4/17) shows mixed bus service to BTL of all three scheduled services from PNT to CHI.

Per a reliable source, 352-16 will turn in Pontiac to become 353-18. 354-16 will terminate in Battle Creek.

There will be no Amtrak’s on the holly subdivision on the 17th whatsoever.

Amtrak 350 at Royal Oak. 4608 and 4618.

At 1:45PM two Harsco units were WB from Galesburg. Per the Harsco website I think they were Mark IV Production/Switch Tampers. Farther to the west was a Hi-Rail.

12:55 - EB NS unit grain train by New Buffalo for the elevator in Decatur

Amtrak 350 is just arriving in Pontiac at 6 pm, three hours late due to some "trespasser" incident somewhere enroute. So 355, which uses the same trainset, hasn't left Pontiac yet.

30 departed from Toledo, Ohio at 12:14am with AMTK 130.

Tornado followed the Amtrak Line from Dowagiac to Portage. 364 is currently stopped in Niles, 352 in Battle Creek. A confirmed tornado was reported in Glenwood.

Genesis 144, powering Capitol Limited train 29, suffered a mechanical failure near Waterloo this morning. Train 49 was on time a ways behind them and the decision was made to rescue 29 by coupling it to the rear of 49 to haul it in to Chicago. You can see the combined consist on the Elkhart VR cam on the rewind until about 9:30pm tonight.

NS put cars on the ground at CP485 (Burns Harbor) overnight and as a result Amtrak cancelled all scheduled Michigan service today except trains 355/354 so far. 29 and 49 may be detouring around, I’m not sure.

Amtrak's decision to cancel 350 and 351 was a blunder. CAPITOL LIMITED 29 arrived Chicago at 8:42 am - 3 min. early. 350 could have run as far as its Hammond
stop and waited for the railroad to open, and 351 could have run normally. Note that 371 from Grand Rapids and 365 from Pt Huron were also canceled.
Unless equipment is deadheaded to Chicago, there may be cancelations this afternoon of outbound trains whose equipment turns from 371, 351 and 365.
