Also…

M510 is now Louisville, KY to Detroit, MI.

M511 is Detroit, MI to Louisville, KY.
Gonna be interesting to see how many autoracks these trains will have now that they're coming from Louisville.
Why? Enlighten me, idk

Ford has 2 assembly plants in Louisville, one builds the Escape and Lincoln Corsair and the other Super Duty trucks, Expedition and Lincoln Navigator.

How were those racks getting to Michigan before?

Now that I look back at my post, I should've said there would be more cars carrying auto parts. I asked my dad who was an executive at GM Powertrain for his thoughts, and he said the parts would be coming from places in Canada or Michigan, then going to Louisville and then the cars would come back empty. Since CSX interchanges with CN (which takes quite a few CSX cars to Canada out of Detroit/SE Michigan), I feel like this theory would make sense.

From what I could find on the wiki, my best guess for routing would've been M208 from Louisville to Walbridge (I couldn't find anything on a direct Louisville/Cincy turn job or road train). Then a train would pick up the cars in Walbridge (M510 in this case), and drop them in Rougemere. Like I said above, it'll probably be an increase in auto parts, not autoracks.

It changes nothing because 510 and 511 still stop in Cincinnati.

18:17 - EAS Howell showing a R/Y/Y into the siding for L303-05, presumably running around a cut on the main.

18:31 - L303-05 thru Howell, 5495 leading my count of 77 cars, wishing them the best getting up the hill tonight.

I’m guessing they were either coming by way of Chicago or somewhere in Ohio. Maybe Cincy?
