quick lil' stop in Altoona today, came across NS 1801 (DC2AC yellow) and NS 1074 (Lackawanna) sitting in Juniata both in storage. Found 8099 (Southern) as well with fresh paint, should be heading west today.

NS Engine #5650 at 8:32am was seen heading northbound towards Kalamazoo on the Elkhart Railcam with 15 cars. Not sure the train ID

NS train 882 for DTE Monroe is in Chicago and crew called for 14:45 eastern to take it to Swanton, OH. BNSF 9687/BNSF 9407, dual executive scheme SD70MACs, on point.

882 is dead in LaPorte, IN west of Elkhart as of 7:17am still

11:43: 10N led by NS 4032 (1995/2017 AC44C6M) and NS 9462 (2000 D9-44CW, still bearing the old stripes logo!) crossed Oak Street in Wyandotte. As 10N passed through, 358, led by NS 1837 (1994/2019 SD70ACC) and NS 8114 (2012 ES44AC, Original Norfolk Southern HU), received permission to pass thru Wyandotte. 12:34: 358 is currently setting off cars at River Rouge Yard.

This was due to a pedestrian strike in Chesterton, hoping it wasn't in front of the camera. Thoughts and prayers are with the train crew and family of the person killed.
