L515 only makes it to Mount Clemens if there is work at GLR in Fraser or Chrysler in MC, and at the moment, there isn't any scheduled this week. If 5851 remains on 515 in the near term, your best bet at catching it would be at Nolan and/or the Turkey Trail at Gillen Yard. L533 works Mount Clemens with greater frequency these days than L515.

Well, Man o' War, do you know if GTW 5851 is on train 515 today, Thursday December 5th? I may go near Nolan and seek it out! So, probably not Mount Clemens today then!

OK, I found out train 515 went to Mount Clemens! I went there around 10:20 a.m. and nothing was there! I read that it worked GLR too!!!! OK, Mom (Susan) and I went to the Royal Oak Amtrak® station! WOW! I captured northbound 515 with GTW 5851! YES!!!! Manistique, it had 26 cars and this was about 1:10 p.m. Now, the train stopped at Lincoln Avenue, and had to "Flag" the crossing. Then headed north! It was nice to catch a good old GTW engine! Even has the same horn from the past!!!!!

OK, lead engine C44-9W #2705 is actually "IC!" See the Reporting Mark? IC 2705 was bought by CN after their 1999 purchase of IC! They bought the 2700 series in 2004 for their Illinois Central® subsidiary!
