WOW! Where have you been Micah. Great to see a post from you. 302 & 303 met in Howell. 303 was in the siding. 303 also had 4067 in it's train. The two units on L302 were both facing forward again like they were several days ago when on this job.

R598-20 @ 19:53 entered the Fremont sub-division mp CGC34.5 head southward to the Grand Rapids sub-div in Holland, Mi with BNSF Executive engine #9669 & 130 empty coal cars & rear dpu BNSF engine #5944. He’ll take Wells Siding mp CG41.4 tie down.

Thank you! Been very busy with school, work and life in general. I should also mention I have since moved to Novi Michigan close to the LSRC line. Thought I’d come down to South Lyon where I grew up for 10 years and catch the heritage unit coming by. Posts here are seldom for me now, but I can’t thank you and all the other members enough for all the train location updates and assistance you’ve provided over the past number of years. It has been an honor to be apart of railroadfan.

He was having some kind of issues with his leading engine & had added CSX engines #3243 + #759 in front of the BNSF #8505 at Grand Jct mp CG54.

He didn't specify mid or rear for the dpu, had only answered "yes". Luckily, we have Andy out in Grandville watching & waiting

Should be rear position DPU for 1827, unless the crew swaps them.

Most likely is a loose air hose. After reviewing my M327 video this morning from Grandville, I tried my best to get close to that loose black air hose in the rear

Most likely is a loose air hose. After reviewing my M327 video this morning from Grandville, I tried my best to get close to that loose black air hose in the rear

It was indeed an air hose hanging down on the rear DPU that had actuated the DED alarm. He will be meeting M326-21 at Sawyer mp CG104.6
