09:45 - NB P966 with CDTX 2007 thru Royal Oak - spun again at Milwaukee Jct.

10:00 - NB P966 with CDTX 2007 and 3 cars thru Opdyke Rd

11:00 - NB P966 with CDTX 2007 and 3 cars arrived at Durand on the Chicago Wye. They did not stop this time and will shove back east to use the High Wye to go south.

11:22 - P966 has been stopped on M2 at the platform for 17 minutes at the station and counting

11:45 - P966 still at the platform at Durand Union Station.

11:49 - P966 shoved back east and now is lined to take the High Wye to turn south on the Holly

L515 (CN 5423) into Mount Clemens with 38 cars this morning. Left MTC at 12:17 with 31 cars. Looks like a 9 day turnaround on the Chrysler cars from Mexico.

M383 by Mount Clemens depot at 12:44. CN 3279/CN, 97 cars.

Lots of coal from CSX (thermal) starting to move on M382 again for Eastern Canada in huge blocks.

YUP I got Amtrak California® F59PHI #2007 doing the "Shunt Testing!!!!" I photographed it going south at Caniff Road, Detroit around 1:32 p.m. Then northbound at the Royal Oak station around 2:30 p.m. We will see what tomorrow (9-14) brings about possibly catching! Durand would have been the ideal spot to witness this! Are plans to do the "Shunt Testing" at any future date with the same engine in Michigan? Are plans to test elsewhere after these tests? I don't remember this train coming! Or has it been here before? Well, I was glad to have seen it!!!!
