There was a NB freight past my house at MP 22.5 on the Holly around 4:30 am. Maybe an extra 251 or extra 491?

The CN Budd Car inspection train just passed MP 22.5 SB at 8 am headed towards Detroit. It must have roosted at Pontiac Yard last night.

SB 515 with 5931 is rolling by MP 22.5 on the Holly at 8:34 am with a good mix of cars for its customers today, including three box cars for 533 to deliver to Chrysler in Mount Clemens.

SB 515 with 5931 is rolling by MP 22.5 on the Holly at 8:34 am with a good mix of cars for its customers today, including three box cars for 533 to deliver to Chrysler in Mount Clemens.

L515 is back to working the Mount Clemens sub up to M.P. 23 again after a respite. They will handle East Yard interchange, Nolan Distribution, C.J. Link, Polyterm (CargoFlow), Great Lakes Recycling and Chrysler. L533 will work Carter Lumber, B&D Drywall and East Yard depending upon where the Boxes for Chrysler show up - i.e. 515 to Chrysler with cars from Pontiac - 533 to Chrysler with cars from Port Huron, interchanging empties/loads at East Yard for 515. It's a strange dance with no easy steps, but it works for them. The one thing I've learned is that no matter how settled they seem to be with any particular routine, at some point it's bound to change. The railroad - forever tinkering...

BTW, L515 left MC for Nolan at 11:05 - GTW 5931.
