Signals are dark at EE South Lyon.
D706 called clear at EE South Lyon at 20:17. Signals were lit then. They went dark again when the last car passed the signal. 🤷‍♂️
This just after our discussion about approach lit signals in the Plymouth Sub Signal Update Thread. The distant to the WE is approach lit, but as far as I know, that's it for the Plymouth Sub. If you don't mind, did the signal go out when the last car passed the EAS? Or was it the WAS? Funnily enough, BL2-1843 made a joke about the rain affecting the signals, and hey, he wasn't wrong was he?

The signal went out just as the last car passed the EAS (had to reference your earlier diagram lol)

I was originally watching from elsewhere, but repositioned when they called clear to see what the signal was doing. We'll see what happens after the weather dries up a little

D706’s crew expires at 9:40. A crew from GR is canning to relieve them and take the train to detroit. They will then cab back to GR and the original crew rests for tomorrow’s D705

If you're getting off the train at Bangor, wave to the cam up under the eve of the roof :) There's a 30 seconds delay time on YouTube.

Tom I’m waiting on daylight , deciding on where to shoot 706. Did they actually leave yet ?

It appears they're still putting their train together which is typical for them to do after giving their markup to the Dispatcher. I'll keep tabs on his progress, where will you be today to watch for him?

Update @ 07:57am D706 reported from Snow Road mp CH136.7
