Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm wondering why D706 set out 513 at Brighton and not Lansing if D708 is just going to take it to Lansing anyway?

Heard D708 on the radio, sounds like they may have been doing their switching in Brighton. Never heard the Green Oak DD, so don’t think they made Peaker.

Tom, around midnight this morning said: D706-12 @ 00:19 while inside Grand Rapids Terminal, was told by Rouge the CSXT engine #513 is to be set off in Brighton mp CH46.8 Don't know at this time if the CSXT #7007 will be leading, nor what the trailing engine may be.

When D708 called the RN at Fowlerville to proceed east this afternoon and told them their plans, they said nothing about getting the 513 at Brighton, only to do their work at Howell and head back. 15 minutes later after talking to the TM, 708 called the RN back and said after they made their GLC set off in the Howell pass, they would go to Brighton and take 513 back to Lansing with then. They were in Brighton a little while, now at Ann Pere but who knows what the score is now.

D70812...went into the siding at Howell to set off 43 GLC cars and then on to Brighton power light to pick up 513

Not from what I observed. D708 had cars behind them in the Brighton siding while hooking up to 513. They pushed 513 out the east end, ran around, and hooked back up to their cars and pulled them to Ann Pere where they backed the train onto the transfer to pick up another cut, then headed west, next stop, Turner St.

GLC was still at Ann Pere when I got there, they left a cut on the Grand River overpass north of the diamond and were heading south as I left.

D706-13 @ various times before & after midnight heard prepping his train in the Grand Rapids Terminal with CSXT engine #851 which was paired with the CSXT #938 running in DPU mode on Q326-09 on July 9th. However, the CSXT #938 had gone to Chicago on yesterday's Q327-12.

D801-12 @ 00:26 eastward reported by the DD mp CG91.9 with 532 axles & 6,982 ft. BNSF engines #6288 + #6062 & 130 loaded coal cars. This was N801-09 that had tied down in Sawyer mp CG104.6 yesterday afternoon. He may be going into Wells Siding mp CG43.3 since Grand Jct Siding has N800-10 tied down there.

D70613 went by Howell at 03:53 this morning with 851 single unit on the head and a whopping 19 cars. This gives a three day total of cars into Detroit at 25. CSX is changing the traffic patterns out between Detroit and Chicago alright, which does not bode well for the Plymouth Sub. No D705 yet today if they can find cars to bring west, but more than likely, the crew is waiting for the 851 to bring it back to GRP.
