A must see D705, (unknown date) by Howell at 10:00 with a whopping 176 cars. 120+521 back to back and ST70AH 8906 facing west as 3rd unit. For as long as these 8900s have been around already, it was the first one I had ever seen in person.

tie laying mow crew sunday at east waverly
mow crew ( at 220p ) returned east on the main to start placing ties along the tracks. started
at the tower going wb toward waverly. cleared 112th ave at 241p. mow truck for power,
5 gons with a crane riding the top of side walls of the gons, unloadiing the ties from within.
5 gons total with a flat car with a ramp for the crane to load and unload from the top of the gons
on the rear with red flag in the rear knuckle, they had cleared up for lunch and 326 .

D801-27 @ 19:14 copied his EC1 to depart the power plant at West Olive mp CGP 1.0 & head to Wells Siding mp CG41.4 to tie down the empty coal train. He’ll cut away the CSXT engines & be the rear manned helpers for N800-26. He has CSXT engines #7010 + #16 & BNSF engines #5904 + #9305 & 130(?) empty coal cars.

N800-26 @ 21:07 copied his EC1 to depart Wells & head eastward to West Olive mp CGP 1.0 with BNSF engines #9669 + #8756 & 130 loaded coal cars & rear helpers CSXT #16 + #7010. It was decided to keep the helpers all the way to West Olive instead of having them cut away after the Saugatuck Hill so as to not delay Amtrak.

Q326-28 @ 11:01 eastward was contacted by Dispatch & was told he has a high reading on the 39th car after going by the DD at mp CG66.2 (we usually can't hear this DD reporting during the daytime). He is to set off that car by backing into the east end of Gross Siding mp CG61.3
