Ok... I'm sticking with my 22,000 on a Q327 :).
You're probably thinking 12,000 tons TBH. That's the highest I've ever heard, and had around 160 cars. You're not going to get much more than that on a Q327.

Given manifests generally run 1 ton to the foot, a 22,000 ton Q327 would run over 400 cars. I can promise you that's never happened!

All depends on lds/mtys. I had a 128 car, 8000ft, 13000 ton train the other day. 93lds - 35mtys. 1 ton per foot is not a valid measurement in any form. I've had longer trains that weighed half that because they're mostly empties. The heaviest trains we run on our territory are sand trains, some of which can run over 150 cars and top 20,000 tons. But for a junk train to weigh 22,000 tons it would have to be mostly loads, and one monster train. Certainly possible but not likely and no way of knowing without the facts, so speculation is pointless.
