CSX (MI) Train Location Updates: 9/14/11

Currently, no trains will be running between Kirk and Gross on the GR sub until the wreck is cleared in Gross.
Last night P370-13 hit a vehicle in a fatal crash, and the car got wedged under the train. It is currently being removed and the tracks will need to be inspected according to the RN dispatcher. If I heard correctly, the train is going to be towed back to Chicago, as a light engine was headed west from Wells.

Q326-13 is currently going through St. Joseph.
The car has been removed from underneath P370-13 up near Gross.

I think the train will continue to GR, minus the cabbage, which will be towed to Chicago. I am listening to the scanner and trying to figure out what is going on. I do not really care to go there in person to see where someone was killed.
I heard something about being towed westward, and also heard Amtrak was at Kirk making a reverse move, so I'm guessing they cut away from the cabbage and moved to a place where they could let passengers off to board buses.
The CSX engine coming down I'm guessing will bring the train to GR, as the engine on 370 has been facing westbound most of the time.

Q326-13 will go to Kirk to wait for the tracks to be inspected. They were informed that Amtrak hit a car on single track past Kirk.
123 leading train westbound. will know the length later when they go thru DD91.9
don't know what the light engine was for...a pusher for a coal train perhaps

As of right now, AMTK 123 is currently leading P370-13 westbound at Kirk.

AMTK 123 is currently leading P370-13 westbound through Stevensville.
At DD91.9 at 1:44am: no defects, 421 ft. 20 axles.
Looks like they're taking the whole train back.
Also looks like P371-14 will be a bus
Q327 okay to head westbound at Gross. They will meet Q326 at Kirk.

If there's a plus side, at least the Amtrak train ran hit the car with a cabbage instead of a locomotive filled with flammable diesel fuel.

K930-12 just released their EC1 from Ensel to Lako.

CSX 2506, 1 boxcar, caboose north at Riley St. Holland 9:16 AM. Probably at Windquest (or whatever they're called now. 2506 has an old paint scheme that I haven't seen for many years.

Q326-14 is currently being chased by N903. Q326 ran around N903 at Gray and now Q326 is around McDonald and N903 is around Kirk.
BNSF 6278 leading N903. I think a 7500 series is leading Q326 but am not sure.

I figured whatever number I put it would be the other train. I had my scanner on briefly, but only heard chatter from the yard and Amtrak.
