BNSF Derailment, Mohave Co., AZ.

A BNSF train derailed in Mohave County, AZ on March 15th. The train was carrying corn syrup, which BNSF says is non-hazardous. It was originally reported that the train was carrying hazardous materials.

Corn syrup is, in a way, hazardous, as high consumption of high fructose corn syrup can lead to type 2 diabetes. It is cheaper and sweeter than pure maple syrup, and is added to the "honey sauce" you get at KFC. Pure honey and pure maple syrup are much better for you.
