Amtrak to launch "The Berkshires Flyer"

Unread post by David Collins »

This article is a few days old, but I was just made aware by my friend who lives in Boston about this...

For those who don't know what the berkshires are, it's a relative area sort of like the area around Harbor Springs/Boyne Mountain, a BIG vacation hotspot in the northeast, almost like the catskills. I'm going to bet they'll be VERY busy in the winter, because (like Boyne Mountain), the place is absolutely INCREDIBLE for skiing/snowboarding, I once spent a week up there with my friend and looking back at it, I can totally see the demand.

My real question is that The Berkshires are visited by a lot of people from Boston, maybe we'll see a route out of that??
