Sad. Twenty or thirty years ago, a college student disappeared off the Empire Builder in western Minnesota and was missing until spring when MOW found the body as the snow melted. Worst part was nobody knew what happened. Somehow in the middle of the night he opened the door and stepped off. Was he just drunk and looking for the restroom? Secretly suicidal? No way to know.
