This can't be helpful given the "Supply Line" issues being blamed for the empty shelves and higher prices.

This isn't going to get better soon. Railroads will be forced to adapt. Operations could be shifted from the yards in the big cities to yards in smaller cities and / or rural areas.
I Hated GP50s, until they were gone.
