NS LCL Service

Unread post by AARR »

There was an article in Trains Magazine recently about NS resurrecting Less Than Carload Service (LCL). I don't think the initial routes include Detroit but they have a large warehouse adjacent to their property in Melvindale where they used to load 40-50 carloads a day of GM auto parts that they could now use for LCL service.

Here's the same topic posted by jim at the other board: https://members4.boardhost.com/OtherMic ... 84573.html

Anyone have any thoughts about this?
