Norfolk Southern Service Alert

Delays between Chattanooga, TN and Sheffield, AL

February 16, 2006

Norfolk Southern operates over CSXT for a portion of our route between
Chattanooga, Tenn., and Sheffield, Ala. As a result of a derailment on
CSXT near Wildwood, Tenn., Norfolk Southern is experiencing delays on
traffic normally moving over this route.

We are advised that one of the two lines should reopen late today,
allowing for movement of some trains through the area. We are also
rerouting some traffic over alternate routes. Customers with traffic moving
through this area should expect delays of at least 24 hours. Updates will
follow
as changes in conditions warrant.
