Best program to sharpen photo clarity

Unread post by MQT1223 »

What photo editing software is the best in regards to sharpening the clarity of a photo? I have taken a snapshot from one of my videos from Rochelle with some sweet lightning in it and I want to sharpen it. Not sure if this is possible even, so any help is appreciated.

Adobe Photoshop.

That's the name of the program.

But wait.

It is probably beyond your price range.

So what is your budget so better advice can be dispensed?

Gimp is a free open source program. Steep kearning curve but most of the same features as Photoshop.

If all you can afford is 'fun',
I'd second Gimp.

You can get Adobe Photoshop CC (and Lightroom) for $9.99 a month. Best $10 I ever spent.

Photoshop Elements is about $70, less on sale, and there's no monthly fee – it's a one-time purchase.
