LSRC MP15's Just Arrived

Unread post by Struggen »

Just received my Athearn Genesis MP15's in LSRC livery! They look great so far, haven't found any major blemishes and I'll hopefully be breaking them in on the oval track soon. Anyone else get there hands one?

Do you have any photo's? I didn't get any but when I saw Athearn was releasing them it made me wish I was modeling LSRC.

I started with wanting to do just LS&I and now I am working on a mashup of LS&I Ore dock to mine, LSRC Port Huron sub, Marquette Rail Manistee sub and Z151, along with several CN and GTW loco's mixed in... This all started with the pre-order of the Athearn Bluebird AC4400CW's which are now almost a year behind schedule. Then I came across the Intermountain SD40-2 for Manistee Rail and the Athearn MP15's and SD70's for LSRC.

Here's a couple quick shots I put on Flickr:

Wow, that is a really sharp looking locomotive! I might need one of those.
