NS heritage refresh program...?

Unread post by David Collins »

Rumors that NS was going to freshen up the paint on the heritage units has gone around for years, and people have now said it's happening since 1067 (Reading Lines) just got a fresh coat of yellow & green, seems like the units are only getting repainted if they get into wrecks (as we saw with NS 4001, although it's not a heritage unit). 1067 did NOT get in a wreck and still got it (and it was about darn time time, paint was chipping everywhere, it was rusting, etc). Is NS going to continue this or is just a one-time thing?
