Radio Frequencies - Southeast Michigan

Unread post by Dan Cluley »

I recently got a new scanner, and am working on a master list of frequencies I might need in an organized fashion. Most of what I'm finding online is either listed by RR rather than geographically, or potentially out of date, or both. My plan is to start several threads here covering different areas with the info I have put together and hopefully get corrections, additions/subtractions.

CSX
8 160.230 CSX Road
14 160.320 CSX Plymouth Sub Dispatcher - Does this continue east from Plymouth into Detroit, or is that another channel?
84 161.370 CSX Saginaw Sub - Does this cover Wixom to Toledo?
35 160.635 CSX Dispatch - Is this used on east side of state?
Not sure about yard channels. Plymouth, Oak & Rougemere, am I missing any yards?

CN
32 160.590 CN Road
28 160.530 CN Holly Sub Dispatcher
54 160.920 CN Shore Line Dispatcher
Not sure about channels for Mt Clemens Sub & Dearborn to Flat Rock
49 160.845 CN Yard
Pontiac, Moterm, East Yard & Flat Rock. Am I missing any, & what channels for these?

NS - Former Wabash
18 160.380
22 160.440
91 161.475
Are all of these used?
76 161.25 Oakwood Yard

NS - Former Conrail
46 160.800 Detroit to Toledo - How far north is this used. Is it both Road & Dispatch?
50 160.860 Yard ?
58 160.980 Yard ?

NS - Unknown
27 160.515
34 160.620
62 161.055
67 161.115
Any information on if or where these are used is appreciated

Amtrak
46 160.800 Amtrak/NS
93 161.505 Amtrak/NS
Michigan line ends at Town Line in Dearborn, then NS to Vinewood and CN to Pontiac, correct? What channels are used on that part of NS?

Ann Arbor RR
92 161.490
83 161.355

IORY
74 161.220
85 161.385
31 160.575

The frequencies listed in the descriptions of the two broadcastify feeds above might be useful.

I’m not sure what IORY’s milepost numbers are… which of these frequencies would be the Riga area? Also, what location is the 160.440 on the NS Wabash?
