New Railcars

Unread post by hoborich »

Watching the La Plata railcam lately, on Monday and Tuesday this week, I saw what appeared to be a BNSF coal train, with the usual coal gons. But they all had some kind of cover on them, with what appeared to be vents in the end of the lids. Never saw this before. One in each direction. Anyone know what these are and what they contain?

May have been "spent grain" from the ethanol process. Sold as cattle feed I believe.
