Which CSX paint scheme do you like better? I like the Royal Blue ("Dark Future") scheme much better.

I prefer seeing ratty, beat up YN2 (bright future) units over the dark future. Pretty much anything YN2 and before is good with me.

Although a fresh coat of YN3 on C40-8's and C40-8W's doesn't look too bad.. :)

I definitely prefer YN2 "Bright Future," especially with the accented lettering amd double lightning bolts on AC6000's. The only dark future engines I can really say I like are C40-8's, and even then, I'd rather see bright future.

I personally like the YN3 (dark future) better than YN2! It looks nice!

Although my favorite one of all time is the blue/gray from early CSX! Nothing out there now is quite the same like it used to be!

WIthout a doubt the YN3 scheme. Whatever gray CSX has used over the years simply does not age well, and looks like crap after a few years. From a purely historical context, the blue is more representative of the B&O/C&O side of the fence, and to me it's not much of a stretch to think that the last B&O & C&O schemes could have evolved to what YN3 looks like. The major change I'd make is to make the entire rear of the units yellow instead of the "block" that they have now.

and it's really easy to imagine a capitol dome logo or C&O for Progress replacing the CSX letters on the nose of the units..

YN3 no doubt. The color crayon shade of YN2 didn't do anything for me. YN1 on the other hand is also one of my favorites and enjoy seeing the 83 and 84 series dash 2's still touting it. Not for long though...
