Re: Ohio Turnpike
It took some digging but I found his infamous video! He changed the name to "The Midhartland By Rail." He ordered his videos in a very "unique" way that is very hard to follow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAqGjJKBnJI&t *It will not let me embed the video Perhaps the board does not want him back?

Soo Line 2-8-0 headed to Michigan and a return to steam
I am confused. What is the engine's future purpose? Tourist service? CHISAGO CITY, Minn. — Minnesota’s Ironhorse Railroad Park has sold former Soo Line 2-8-0 No. 2425 to Mineral Range Inc., operator of the Mineral Range Railroad in Ishpeming, Mich. FYI, If you want to purchase American-Made Cereal, buy the store brands. That IS still made in Battle Creek MI, but manufactured by Ralston, Right across the street from the Battle Creek Amtrak depot. You buy Kelloggs, Chances are it is from Mexico Yeah.. Sad right? Hart Depot Relocation
I did not realize the depot in Hart was moved to the town's historic village. I thought it was demolished! When did this happen? They also have the caboose that used to sit off of Oceana Drive just north of Hart. The depot and caboose are in rather rough shape, but it appears restoration work is bei...

Why aren't there two round trips of the PM? Not enough in the budget? Or is it CSX or NS?

Re: Amtrak Michigan Services: Schedule Effective 07/16/18
Wouldn’t be shorter unless they made the GDLK a 110-mph speedway - and that’d require a heck of a lot of route realignments - like Harriman scale. Dumb idea. An idea that needs to die. I wouldn't call it dumb, maybe unrealistic or a pipe dream. But the way GR is growing (and somewhat Kalamazoo/Port...

Musekgon Questions (Michigan Shore)
Haven't heard much on the Michigan Shore in a while.
Do they still use the GTW shops on Henry Street? Or are operations now centralized at the old C&O yard on Western Ave.?
Are locomotives #2019 and #2057 still stationed in Muskegon?

Re: Amtrak Michigan Services: Schedule Effective 07/16/18
Agreed, Nathan. The PM leaves just too ungodly early for a city the size of GR. If it was some po-dunk town in the middle of no where, and was an intermittent stop, I could maybe see it. But not being a large originating city. I agree 100% with your thoughts. In a perfect world, we would have a tra...
