Hi guys, if I were to go to Muskegon on a Saturday, would MMRR be doing anything? If not, would any locomotives be sitting outside where I could see them?

Ok, CP's pretty much gone, we're down to 5 trains aday, the yard is quiet, and nothing moves on the weekends! Is this the end? Everyone appears to be trying to pull the plug on the Amtrak Pere Marquette, too. Plus CSX is slowly leasing off the lines. Is this the end for CSX in Michigan?

Me and a few other railfans will be in Durand on March 4th, anyone interested in that date?

So where do they keep the 3836? I was in Greenville a few weeks ago and saw a Rail America GP9 sitting with now trucks, and an engine house that doesn't look big enough to hold a GP38 and an SW1200RS. They really oughta just give them all SD40-2s and GP40-2s and leave them alone.

Now that the Grand Rapids Eastern GP38 is fixed, is MMRR ever going to give it back to GRE? I'm getting a little bored with the MMRR #24. What else do they have now, that ex CN SW1200RS?

Zack, when they were really desperate for recrews they could and did use BH crews to recrew trains. Havn't done it for some time though as we have a lotof crews up in GRR now to do that. As for running from Waverly to BH and doing their work...should be not that big o' problem. They almost daily go...
