Re: Sad news for those familiar with an old Saugatuck landma

I'll have to see about that, if I'm able to I'd be there. I didn't realize how tight some of the curves in the river are while looking at the satellite image. Hopefully it's a nice day they do the tow on. Douglas, Mich. Keewatin is due to leave Douglas about June 2 but will no longer lay over at De ...

Sargent Sand bought the Harbison-Walker site and now have a track to it. You should be able to see the wind turbine components from the Pere Marquette Highway. Two 89' flatcars for one blade is what I've been seeing. Them blades sure do flex on the flat cars, look like whales flopping around going down the tracks, haha. The trailer pictured above they flex up and down in the middle. They also have the spine car method. http://www.ttx.com/equipment/listingt...

Those switchers may have been for training purposes. I know of one MP15AC that was used for training new hires. Speaking of ICE, look at what happened to this poor ole girl in Alabama Monday morning. http://www.fuzzyworld3.com/3um/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=6716&p=45056#p45056 Not the 6413's first damaged...

I've bought two DVDs for $5 each at Kmart, first one was about the C-5 and C-130 and the other was SR-71 and B-1 Bomber. Footage from the DoD and they have the background sound with a nice selection of music. Great video with lots of air to air and aerial refueling shots. Well worth it.

Late Show unveils Sports Illustrated Billboard

Letterman unveiled the annual Swimsuit Cover Sports Illustrated Billboard on Broadway. Then the next night they had another magazine cover to unveil. I won't ruin the surprise but start watching at 4:25 mark. It made me laugh. http://www.cbs.com/late_night/late_show/video/?pid=D_i9BYwxpFMy42z_O_8Zsj...
