That would be the 105 job which handles switching in Kalamazoo. I believe ownership changes at PJ where the the Upjohn Industrial (old GR&I) connects to the CK&S. 105 among other duties interchanges with the CN.

Safety wise the dollars would be better spent on grade separation than double tracking. Amtrak is at greater risk of a grade crossing vehicle collision that running into it's own trains.

Schoolcraft it is. I don't know when the tower was removed but there was an operator there in the depot at least into the late 60's.
