As of right now January 2 2022 at 8:10 pm on a Sunday they just dropped empty cars off at plum run. They are now running 7 days a week it looks like.

Norfolk southern is the reason they don’t have to Rarden yet.

I was told by a railroad worker that NS is the reason that CCET can’t get the siding in Rarden. Have no idea why they will not let them lease it. He also said they was wanting it for the stone trains.

I drove by that yard last night on my way to the company office in Columbus it was nothing but a gravel yard filled with piles and piles of cross ties

Them signals in Sardinia are not new. They have been up since NS ran the line. WhAt I was told NS installed them not long before they cut the line. Was installed because lighting hit the old ones.

That’s a hell of a lot of concrete for them. That part of the line will be so darn busy in the coming years for sure. They are pushing lots of storage cars east. CCET has a crap load of hopper cars inside of plum run. They also have several at lawshe siding along with a few tank and flat cars .on the main from 74.4 at plum run all the way to pine gap Trestle they have flat cars in storage. The derail is still on the rail at jaybird road.

That Green locomotive is setting in Sardinia right now. Saw it today while I was out that way. Setting on a spur inside the Sardinia wye track
