Re: Everything/Anything CF&E thread...Part 3

Some of us do not bother with the drama on Facebook, is there a link? My point, don't assume we all know what's going on because it's posted someplace else. :) No worries, just etiquette I guess...I have been accused of living in a simpler time. E at CG Sorry just going by pictures posted on the Fa...

A CTC "island" that would allow for a control point to get a train into a passing track, the other end would be a spring switch also with a ...

Re: Everything/Anything CF&E thread...Part 3

is this a test running this 19A across the ex PRR i'm guessing. is the congestion that bad still on the ex NYC and even the ex NKP that NS needs to run trains this way? NS has gone as far as qualifying at least 1 crew to run Colsan to Ft Wayne. I figure they're training more though but these are ru...

Re: Rj Corman Western Ohio Lines ST Marys, SPEG, Greenville

Unless they went though when i picked up my kids from school they didn't go though celina yesterday. And my wife hasn't heard any trains yet today. I put her on alert to watch for any trains. They were in Lima this morning and told the yard office they would be delivering 3 lumber cars to Coldwater...

The power for this mornings train was CSX 8196 boxcar logo SD40-2, ex Conrail C40-8W, CF&E 3886/3882. I wasn't able to watch the entire train but there was a few Omnisource gons up front so must have been a LIFW

Re: Rj Corman Western Ohio Lines ST Marys, SPEG, Greenville

There was 2 cuts, one almost the length of the yard and another half length. Previously when I've seen them move these trains into storage they'll have an engine on each end both providing power to move the entire block of cars. Since GP16s aren't DPU capable they require an engineer in both locomot...

Re: Everything/Anything CF&E thread...Part 3

BNSF8000, I'm not 100% sure of all the slow order. I know the Van Wert slow order is specifically Washington St. There was one west of town but that is clear. Last I knew there was one between Delphos and VW Terminal but I'm not sure of the length. They did 10 by me when I filmed them in MP. I figur...
