The SD60 or 70 MAC (whatever) switching the Port Huron Industrial track is one of those if I didn't see it I wouldn't believe it. Thanks for the proof Dave.

Thanks for clearing that up Matt. It looks like there are no more run throughs on AA from either CN or NS then.

Justin, Did you draw a track plan before you started. It looks like some of your track took some pre-planning before putting it together.

You're right, in the picture the rail looks awful. The author said the zoom exaggerates the condition of the track. Good thing cause in the picture that track looks worse than GLC's line to Middleton :)

Maybe the cars didn't derail, maybe that's LSRC's method of ballasting the track

Despite the long and heavy trains gravel is a low profit commodity. And the flyash faces stiff competition from both trucks and ships. The track is expensive to maintain. If they don't get financial assistance from the state (and MI has a serious deficit) they may review the viability of the line no...

If it's possible can someone check and see if Lafarge also receives gypsum? I've noticed in a couple pictures from LSRC Railfan that the open top hoppers at Lafarge have a whitish commodity in them and I've read that gypsum is still used in cement prodcution. Thanks guys.

4 pack of WAB stock cars and SOO ore cars. A few other odds-n-ends. What I'm really hoping for this week is some time to finish my elevation lines so the cookie cutting can commence! All I have to do is figure where I'll place the cement plant and I'll be good to go :)
