Hello Detroit area railfans. Is there a safe spot to see all NS Detroit area trains in one location?? (before they split up for the detroit line and the wabash). Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

What about all that sand traffic from GR?? Did that dry up too?? I rarely see any sandies moving through Elkhart any more.

CantBeShook-You might know this. Just saw a very long intermodal from the north, turning west on the Fostoria east cam. Do You know what train it would be? It was mostly foreign containers, yet quite of few doublestack csx/umax too. Thought is would be Q151, but I thought they stopped carrying domes...

I would like to photograph the Grand Elk near Grand Rapids. Does anyone know the current schedule?? Last I knew, it ran Mon-Wed-Fri in the afternoon. Is this still the case?? Any help would be appreciated.
